A Statewide Spanish-Language Crisis Line

On Cinquo de Maya in 2002, CONTACT the Crisis Line launched CONTACTO Linea de Crisis, a statewide Spanish-Language crisis line.  CONTACTO  is a separate telephone line, and is answered by bilingual certified teleplhone counselors.

Within the Jackson calling area, call:

Outside the Jackson local calling area, but only within Mississippi, call:

1-866-32 AYUDA (1-866-322-9832) 

We are currently recruiting additional bilingual volunteer crisis line counselors.  They participate in the regular crisis line training, but upon completion of the training, they are scheduled to answer the CONTACTO line.
